Since being offered the new position, I have started a series of goodbyes. I don't think of them as goodbyes forever, just goodbye for now. Besides, with Web 2.0 applications, it is much easier to stay in contact with loved ones around the world while one is off galivanting around remote islands. After a lovely day of childcare, Matt and Susan took me out to celebrate my graduation from the master's program. Entrusted with the Definitive Gold Box Edition of Twin Peaks, I decided to watch a few episodes tonight. Remembering it's David Lynch and kinda bizarre, I wasn't disappointed. Last night, I finished painting the fence. It looks worlds better than the rusty rig it was previously. I will take more wide-angled shots another day. Also, these are the first four squash from our garden along with more sun-ripened grape and cherry tomatoes.
